Are your courses accredited?
Yes. All of our courses are fully accredited by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM). This means that when you complete your training, you’ll hold a qualification that is recognised across the industry, giving you credibility, confidence, and the opportunity to grow your career or business.
No experience is required for most of our beginner courses. We welcome students from all backgrounds, whether you are completely new to beauty and aesthetics or already working in the industry. For advanced courses, we may recommend certain prior knowledge, which will be clearly outlined in the course details.
Yes — we believe that financial flexibility should never hold you back from reaching your goals. That’s why we offer our Train Now, Pay Later option, allowing you to spread the cost of your training into manageable instalments while starting your learning straight away.
Our main training venue is at The Venue Salon in Bournemouth, a professional, fully equipped environment designed to give you a hands-on, realistic learning experience. We occasionally add additional locations, which will be listed on our website when available.
Yes, once you have successfully completed your course, you will be awarded a certificate accredited by IPHM. This certification demonstrates your skills, knowledge, and ability to carry out treatments to industry standards, helping you attract clients and grow your career.
Yes. Kits are available on request for specific courses. They’re designed to help you practise your skills at home and build confidence outside of the classroom. While optional, many of our students find them very useful for reinforcing what they learn during training.
The duration of our courses varies depending on the subject. Some can be completed in just half a day, while others may require several days of classroom and at-home learning combined. Each course listing on our website clearly outlines the structure, timings, and what to expect.
Absolutely. At The Venue Training Academy, our support doesn’t end when you walk out the door. We provide ongoing guidance, advice, and aftercare to help you as you start putting your new skills into practice. Many of our students stay in touch for continued mentorship and career support.

Founder of The Venue Training Academy
With over 15 years of experience in the beauty and aesthetics industry, Emily is a true expert in her field. Her journey began at just 19 years old, when she opened her first salon. Through resilience, passion, and a commitment to excellence, that small business quickly grew into something much bigger—eventually becoming The Venue, one of the South Coast’s most recognised and respected beauty brands.
Emily has worked alongside some of the most reputable skincare companies in the industry, continually investing in her own professional development and always staying ahead of the curve with the latest techniques and technologies. Her flagship salon, The Venue Beauty Salon in Wallisdown, opened in response to growing client demand and quickly became a destination for cutting-edge treatments and exceptional client experiences.

That experience sparked a deep passion for education, and a recognition of a widespread issue: a lack of high-quality, hands-on training in real clinic environments. And so, The Venue Training Academy was born.
Unlike traditional training schools, The Venue Academy offers students real-world learning inside working clinics, led by Emily herself and her experienced senior team. The courses are designed to not only meet industry standards but exceed them—preparing students for success in a competitive and ever-evolving field.
